It was supposed to be a normal birthday gathering. The food was plenty, the music was playing, and everyone was gathered together, talking and laughing. But there was a small part of the night that had felt a bit mundane.
Then, two of the birthday attendees saw it. A single pool table, tucked away, waiting in an empty area. It was as if it was calling to them. Their faces lit up with curiosity, and without a second thought, they went to ask if they could play.
The owner, a friendly man who knew how much joy a good game of pool could bring, nodded and said with a smile, “Of course you can.”
